Awana Club
Mission Statement: To disciple and equip children with the word of truth, that they might take on the heart of Christ and be his hands and feet in establishing God’s kingdom on earth, as it is in heaven.
Awana @ WOTIM
Who: At Word of Truth International Ministries, Awana Clubs are open to boys and girls in Kindergarten through 6th Grade (ages 5 through 12).
What: Children are grouped in age appropriate club levels to provide effective lessons and resources – Sparks (K-2nd Grade), T&T (3rd-6thGrade). Each meeting consists of two phases: Handbook Time (scripture training) and Large Group Time (bible lessons and team games).
When: Children are dismissed from Sunday Service following a time of worship, meeting of the body and announcements. Awana Clubs conclude at the end of service.
Where: Classes are held in the classroom and general meeting hall on the first floor of the Truth Center.
Why: To train up our children in the ways of the Lord that they may faithfully know and follow Jesus Christ.
